Winter preparation or season start: finding the right training camp
A good football training camp starts long before the first session – with the choice of region, facility and dates. For winter preparation from January to March, clubs head for the mild Mediterranean; for the summer season start, mountain air and short journeys are in demand. We'll advise you honestly on which location fits your team's age group, level and budget.
Croatia / Istria is the classic for winter preparation: mild climate, well-kept grass pitches and seaside hotels, 4–6 bus hours from Austria and southern Germany. Slovenia scores with first-class sports centres, green nature and excellent value in the heart of Europe. Austria offers the shortest journey, top-level sports infrastructure and ideal altitudes for summer preparation.
