Training camps in Istria: locations, climate, getting there
The Istrian peninsula has been one of the most popular locations for football training camps in Croatia for years – with good reason: from Austria or southern Germany you're on site in roughly 4–6 hours by bus. No flights, no complicated logistics – the team bus is all you need.
The mild coastal climate makes Istria playable almost year-round. Winter preparation from January to March is especially popular, when pitches at home are frozen and teams train at 10–15 degrees on the Adriatic. The region is also a proven choice for the summer season start.
